Check
Chase Demo
Whether you
collect checks through traditional methods or you collect checks electronically,
there are scores of client retention and support processes that must be
conducted. If your software is unable to automate these issues, your
business will not function efficiently, and profits that you should be making
will be eaten by increased labor costs. What’s worse is your accounts
will not stay with you any longer than it takes for the first resourceful
competitor to knock on their door.
Check Chase is
not only a complete check management tool, it is a turnkey
office solution for companies doing check recovery, either for
themselves or as an outsource service for others.
Check Chase can be configured to conduct the RCK recovery process in the manner that best fits the
needs of your individual Merchants or Clients.
Most
companies find that Check Chase organizes or automates so many
of their daily procedures that they can redirect much of their
recovery related labor force to other areas.
-
Electronic
re-presentment can be scheduled automatically by the software or manually by
the operator.
-
Exporting and
Importing ACH files is a one click operation and doesn’t require a separate
FTP program.
-
Returning
RCK items update the files automatically, regardless of whether they are
returning NSF or Paid. No manual
intervention is required. Paid items are credited to the proper
accounts and the appropriate reports generated. Failed items are
handled accordingly, with the software automatically rescheduling qualifying
checks for the next RCK attempt.
-
Check
Chase automatically calculates NSF fees, client rebates, and collection
charges. Using special functions called "Events," Check Chase can even adjust these figures accordingly,
as the RCK process evolves. For example, a Merchant whose checks clear on the 1st RCK
attempt can receive a $10.00 per check rebate. If
a check has to be sent through a 2nd time, Check Chase can reduce
the
rebate on this check to $5.00. If the
check fails both electronic attempts and has to go to secondary collections, the rebate
on this check can be eliminated altogether and
a 35% collection fee charged. (The values are for example only, you may
configure the software to any values that you wish.)
-
Other
events, such as the "Recovery Fee" event, allow you to adjust the
NSF fee accordingly. You may not want to charge the checkwriter a fee
as long as his check clears on the first re-presentment, increasing the fee
to $15.00 if the check has to be electronically re-presented a 2nd time, and
then increase the fee to the normal $25.00 if the check fails both RCK
attempts and has to be sent into traditional collections.
-
Print paper
drafts for NSF fee collection (as an alternative to electronic processing.)
-
Client
reimbursements can be made through an automatic ACH credit to their account, and reporting can be sent via e-mail, fax or printed and mailed.
-
Sales
tracking, commission reporting, and payment of commissions, is also a simple
click of the mouse. Reports are
e-mailed to the salesperson and his commissions are credited to his account via
an ACH credit.
-
Consolidated
Returns module handles debiting and crediting of merchant accounts, allowing
you to combine hundreds of smaller merchants who would not ordinarily
qualify for consolidation, into one single "master" account.
-
Check Assist maintains
a secure web site that allows you to provide your merchants with on-line
reporting. Your Check Chase software simply uploads pertinent check
data to the web and images and status of check collections is
available 24/7.
-
Check Assist
also maintains a check verification center that allows you to provide your
merchants with immediate check acceptance protection. Check Chase will
automatically update this system daily, adding new checkwriters to the
system and removing those who have paid. As a Check Chase user,
the normal $2,500.00 sign up fee is waived.
-
Check
Chase can also update other check verification centers such as Rocky
Mountain, and Equifax. (You must contact them for information on their
sign up and access fees.)
-
Using
a MagTek imager, Check Chase will archive your checks and provide instant
image retrieval when requested.
-
Check
Chase is ‘smart’ enough that it won’t allow you to inadvertently
process the same RCK
batch twice.
-
You
can use Check Chase to do 3rd party collections yourself or have
the software automatically forward uncollected checks to the collection
agency of your choice.
